Josef Severa

Independent consultant, coach & mentor

Josef Severa graduated from the University of Economics in Prague. His first job was as an internal auditor at EuroTel Praha, where he worked for 7 years and built a team of 11 auditors. He then spent 20 years at Ernst & Young, where he advanced to the position of Partner in Advisory Services, a role he held for 7 years. During his time at EY, he completed hundreds of projects in the field of internal auditing. At its peak, his team grew to 40 people, focusing on internal audit services such as co-sourcing, quality assessment, training, and more. They provided long-term internal audit services to a number of both international and Czech companies. At EY, he also held a managerial and methodological role within the global internal audit team. In addition to internal auditing, he expanded business activities in energy, SMART cities, and innovation agendas. Beyond internal audit, he is also passionate about people development. He is a coach and mentor, and currently focuses mainly on this activity. He works as an independent consultant, the owner of Plain Management, and as part of the company MC Triton.
