Ivo Středa

After graduating from the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at the Czech Technical University, he worked for 14 years in the field of radiation safety at nuclear power plants, including VÚJE Jaslovské Bohunice, Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, and Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.
From 1993, he worked for 24 years in the field of internal audit, where he established or transformed internal audit departments in companies such as ČEZ, Český Telecom, Ernst & Young Czech Republic, E.ON Bohemia, ČSA, and innogy Czech Republic (RWE).
In 1995, he founded and became the first president of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors and is currently a member of its extensive presidium. He also served as the Vice President for professional development of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors.
He has served on the Supervisory Board of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, in Public Audit Oversight Board, and is currently a member of the Audit Committee of Prague Airport and the Audit Committees of the Central Bohemian Region hospitals.
He is now putting his experience to a good use through mentoring and coaching internal audit managers and managers of related areas.
