Bohuslav Poduška worked for 13 years at EZ-Praha as the Director of the Department of Economic Information and Analysis. He then worked in public administration as the Director of the Department of Economic Information and Analysis at FMEP, FMHSE, and as the Director of the Department of Privatization at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO ČR). From 1993, he worked at Česká spořitelna, where he originally served as the Director of the Capital Investment Department. He was the Director of the Internal Audit Department of Česká spořitelna, a.s., from 1994 to 2016. Currently he works as an advisor.
Since 2015, he has been a member of the Presidium of the Public Audit Oversight Board. He is also one of the founders of the auditing profession in the Czech Republic. From 1989 to 1993, he served as President of the Union of Auditors, the predecessor to the Chamber of Auditors. After the establishment of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic, he served as vice president. He actively contributed to the development of the internal audit profession in the Czech Republic as President of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors. In this field, he worked closely with The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He is currently a member of the Honorary Presidium of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors (ČIIA) and a member of the IIA.
